ON AND OFF-ROAD
Combining refinement with off-road handling, Range Rover Evoque makes light work of extreme driving conditions.
Match the demands of the terrain by optimising Range Rover Evoque with one of five driving modes. Terrain Response 2 monitors the driving conditions and takes this award-winning system to the next level, by systematically selecting the most suitable driving mode for you.
ALL TERRAIN PROGRESS CONTROL
This state-of-the-art system enables you to set and maintain a steady speed in challenging conditions. Operating like a conventional cruise control system, All Terrain Progress Control functions between 1.8km/h and 30km/h.
Ultrasonic sensors, located in the door mirrors, detect and alert you should the water approach Range Rover Evoque’s class-leading wading depth of up to 600mm. Optional Wade Sensing can also help you to safely tackle water crossings and could prove invaluable for navigating flooded roads.
HILL LAUNCH ASSIST
Ensures the vehicle doesn't roll backwards as it pulls away on an incline.
LOW TRACTION LAUNCH
Providing optimum torque control when you move off from a standstill in slippery conditions. Low Traction Launch is active until Range Rover Evoque reaches 30km/h – at which point the vehicle blends back into the selected driver mode.
HILL DESCENT CONTROL
Hill Descent Control assists with controlled descents of difficult slopes. It maintains a constant speed and applies braking separately to each wheel.
